Template Policies

Squarespace Template Policy

When you purchase a Premium Squarespace Template Kit, you will receive a link to accept the template as a new website, this template will not be added to an existing website.

We will always do our best to have your template sent within 48 hours Monday-Friday (2 business days) but please understand that this timeframe may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances, and, although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over 2 business days. Please note that there may be a delay on this timeframe due to holidays.

Once the template is added into your account, it is no longer ours and is your responsibility to add your own content and edit the site. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

A purchase of a Template includes your chosen template sent to you only once:

If you make any accidental changes to your template and want the template sent again, or, if you don’t accept the invitation to your new template within 6 months of purchase and your free trial expires, then you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again.

Your template will come into your account on a free trial. If you let this free trial run out, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. If your website gets deleted and you want the template resent, you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again. Avoid letting your trial run out by asking Squarespace support for a trial extension or upgrading your site to a paid plan.

Refund Policy

Due to the fact that all of our products are digital, they cannot be returned or exchanged. We cannot issue refunds after the purchase is made. Please be sure to review the template demos and features, the FAQs and requirements prior to purchasing. If you have any template specific questions, please contact us before you purchase.

Support Policy

We offer three months of (reasonable) free email support for issues relating to the template itself, the install/build, the downloads, the provided files and any problems that might arise with these. 

We provide assistance for the following areas of concern:

  1. Pre-installation of our website templates

  2. Clarification on our template features or settings

  3. Issues related to any graphics/deliverables included in template kit

  4. Effects of Squarespace updates on our templates

  5. General template bug fixes and patches

Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to help with general Squarespace related questions, template modifications, coding modifications or any problems that might arise from them, or any problems you are having with software, and our support does not cover the following:

  1. General Squarespace questions and issues

  2. Design strategy or guidance on template use

  3. Compatibility with third-party plugins

  4. Issues from modifications of custom code or functionality

  5. Server or hosting configurations

We offer support via support ticket and we aim to respond within 48 hours Mon-Fri (2 business days).

Copyright & Licensing Policies

Squarespace Website Templates:

Each Website Template purchase may be used for one project/website only (e.g.: 1 Squarespace Template purchase = 1 Website). If you want to build multiple websites with the same template, you must purchase it again for another license.

By purchasing a template, you agree that:

If you are using the template to build a design for a client, you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these designs as solely your own.

You may not resell the design or claim the design as your own. 

You may not share the template, graphics, files or any design elements provided in your purchase with anyone else.

Any photography provided with the template is for demonstration purposes only and copyrighted to its original creator. You must replace these photographs with your own / source images yourself. We hold no liability for any image licensing / copyright issues that may occur through your unlawful use of the supplied images.

Text /copy provided in the website is for demonstration purposes only. You must replace this text /copy with our own.

The design is copyrighted Pacific Rim Web Design and Pacific Rim Web Design owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and pre-made graphics in Canva) included in your purchase and design.

Your completed website design may be used in our template showcase, sales pages or on our social media for demonstration and promotion purposes.

Miscellaneous Important Notes

You will need a Squarespace subscription at least at the Business level, and you may need a Canva Pro subscription to use these templates. Please read each template description carefully to see what is needed for that particular template.

You have lifetime access to the templates, but we can’t guarantee lifetime updates to the content. If the template has been retired/removed from the store, it will no longer be updated.
